- Visitors touring Thailand may be permitted a stay up to 60 days.
- A valid passport (valid for at least 6 months into the future) must be submitted along with the application form, confirmed round-trip airline ticket (plus photocopy of the ticket) and one recent photograph (4 x 6 cm).
Requirements for Chinese nationals:
Individual Application : Should a Chinese passport
holder wish to travel to Thailand independently, he/she can apply for a tourist
visa in person. The requirements are: a passport (plus photocopy of the
important pages in the passport), a completed application form, one
passport-sized photograph, a confirmed round-trip airline ticket (plus photocopy
of the ticket), and a letter of recommendation from the applicant's company or
employer to confirm that the applicant is an employee who will be traveling to
Thailand and will resume his/her work after returning from Thailand.
Fee: 230 RMB (Visa fee may be changed without prior notice)
- Foreigners who wish to work either for business, study, do some research or stay with family may be permitted a stay of up to 90 days.
- Apart from the general requirements, a letter of invitation from the Thai partner or company and a copy of the business registration of that Thai company must also be submitted.
- Requirements for Chinese nationals: Apart from the above-mentioned
requirements, Chinese passport holders must submit 4 completed application
forms, 4 recent photos (4 x 6 cm), a confirmed round-trip airline ticket
together with a letter of recommendation letter from the Chinese company for
which the applicant works.

- For those traveling through Thailand to a third country; visitors to Thailand on a transit visa are permitted to stay in the country for a period not exceeding 30 days
- Requirements are the same as those for a tourist visa as well as a visa of a third country in a passport or travel document.
- Requirements for Chinese nationals: the applicant must submit
his/her passport, possessing the visa of the third country to which he/she
intends to travel, two completed application forms and an air ticket (with
routing confirmed and payments made).
Fee: 180 RMB (Visa fee may be changed without prior notice)
Your application will be processed within 3 working days. In other words, you
submit the application on Monday you will get the visa on Wednesday.
Visa hours: Monday-Friday: 9.30 - 12.00 hours
Fee paid is not refundable
